One of our favorite classic trends that we hope is here to stay is the “no makeup” makeup look. A lot of our clients are also loving this effortless, put together, daily look as well. The “no makeup” makeup look is one of our most popular look requests during our one on one or group makeup lessons.
A “no makeup” makeup look has a few key points to achieve a clean and elevated natural finish to the face. Here is our simple 10 step routine from our professional makeup artists here at Miami Makeup Pros:
- Even out your skin tone and add a healthy glow with a tinted moisturizer, tinted sunscreen, or sheer coverage foundation.
- Spot conceal anywhere you might need some extra coverage like underneath the eyes over any blemishes you might want to cover more.
- For oily skin, set the products underneath with a transparent or sheer finishing powder to absorb any extra oils or matte down the t-zone.
- Add powder or cream bronzer to the perimeter of the face, and bridge of the nose.
- Add blush to the cheeks, this can be either matte, or glowy, based on preference. It can also be a cream or powder.
- Add a highlighter to the top of your cheek bones.
- Use your highlighter on the inner corners of the eyes to make them pop and add the bronzer in your crease as well as lightly smudged under the eyes for dimension.
- Fill in the brows with a powder, pencil, or tinted brow gel.
- Add mascara to the top and bottom lashes.
- Apply your favorite lipstick or lipgloss that is the same shade as your lips or 1-2 shades darker.
